My first report here. For those of you who don't know me, I know Hebrew very well; I just can't type in Hebrew.
Yesterday, Sunday, I went with my brother (who had his Birthday) to target Karasim. on one of the decks in the center. The strong Eastern winds and relative low sea, were not promising.
However, the sea decided to give us a nice birthday present, ending with a total of 75 pieces (not all are shown in the picture).
The fish size was very good with some very nice 'platot'.
My gear: 5 M Bolognaise rod, line: 0.20, hooks # 8 (long shank), hand made floater
Bait: Filuta (courtesy of Rami Rokoko) with an extra dosage of sand , to make it as heavy as possible.
In this session I practiced working with very loose clutch. As the session progressed, I got more comfortable with it. In the end of the day, I did not lose any fish. Not even one. Every fish that was hooked  -- landed in the 'tzeidanit'. Normally, the karas swallows the bait all the way to the 'zimim'. Oddly this time, many were caught with the hook set between the teeth and the upper lip. In such a case, if I muscle the fish too much, it would rip itself. So, the open clutch, sure, did the work.
On a different note, before we even started fishing, my brother got a hook stuck deep into his finger.
I removed the hook using the wire method (see following link www.youtube.com/watch?v=TTUQXpg76xQ&feature=related). I recommend to get familiar with this method. You never know when you'll need it.

לא נעים להתחיל את הדיג עם קרס ביד , אבל אני רואה שזה
לא מנע את ההמשך המוצלח של חגיגות היום הולדת.

כמות מרשימה של דגים עם פילוטה שלא מאכזבת אף פעם.
יפה שהשתמשתם בחול כדי לגרום לפיתיון להיות כבד יותר.

שלא יגמר לעולם , גם לא דוחות כאלו שלך.

יצאתם עם כמות יפה מאד ועוד במרכז ...המון חברה חושבים שאין שם מספיק דגים אבל הוכחת לכולם

Regarding Hebrew, I'm aware of virtual keyboard and other technical solutions. It's not a tech problem. It is just my personal problem.

Aviv1:   I do not use any sinker. The filuta is heavy enough
Gaichuk: sorry, the tzeidanit is not for sale. Yet, I'm willing to consider a barter deal: say, the tzeidanit in exchange for a  mutual session in sweet water :) l
Ma'amoon: the fish were caught very close to the rocks line, in about 2.5 meter depth (much different from your 50 cm playground) l .

עומק 2 וחצי מטרים מזמין את הדג הכי מפריע לנו בדייג עם פילוטה הלא הוא האראס

באזורים בהם אני דג אם בתקופה הזו זורק לעומקים אלה מקבל המון אכילות בעיקר מהאראסים

האם אצלכם במרכז זה שונה?

אין הפרעות מהאראסים?

Ma'amoon, are you kidding me ?  The Arasim in the center are a nightmare
So, we have to use different tricks to try to outsmart them.
The thing that works best for me is to change a spot, once the Arasim spot me. There is no need to move far.
In my experience, it takes some time for the Arasim to spot you, and I use this time window before I change spot.
It may sound as silly idea, but it works
Another thing that I do, at times:  I cast very far away (advantage of bolognaise ) and reel back very slowly, so the bait gets to the fishing point, when it's already down at the bottom
In addition, the reason I mentioned, in my report, the extra sand in the filuta, is to make it heavier, so it will sink down as quick as possible
Still, the Arasim are,indeed, a nightmare, and can't wait for them to disapear.... .

גמני נהגתי להשתמש בשיטה זו אבל וזה אבל גדול

סרגוס ועם יותר ריח של פילוטה במים מתחיל להתאסף ולגיע לאותה נקודה בה אנו זורקים

להחליף נקודה זה אומנם ירחיק את האראסים מאיתנו לתקופה מסויימת אבל ובאותה מידה אנו מתרחקים

מאותה נקודה שעבדה לנו יפה עם הסרגוסים

בקרוב ועם התקררות המים הדג הזה ילק וייעלם לנו ..כך דווקא עדיף
